USO Entertains

From his first show at March Field in Riverside, California, in 1941, to his final USO tour in 1990 to Bahrain and Saudi Arabia as part of Operation Desert Shield, Bob Hope loved to make the troops laugh.

We recognize that our troops and families are not only far away from home while stationed or training in our area, but very often far away from everything. Many of the bases we serve are more than an hour’s drive from any source of entertainment. We work closely with the USO Show Troupe and many other performers and entertainers to provide entertainment at various events for service members and their families. We also host family movie nights, Super Bowl and World Series Watch parties, special meet and greets and invitations to exclusive entertainment events. Bob Hope USO works to sponsor a variety of special USO on-base entertainment that helps prevent the need for long drives to the nearest town.
