About this Location

The Bob Hope USO at March ARB Joint Regional Deployment Center opened in March 2018. Each year, 60,000 to 90,000 individual troops transit as units deploy, redeploy and travel for training rotations at Twentynine Palms, Fort Irwin and elsewhere in the region.Together with dozens of volunteers, we serve snacks, refreshments and other treats to the military members waiting several hours at the terminal for their flight out.

Bob Hope’s first USO Show took place at March ARB back in 1941 – so it is only fitting that we are able to have a presence on base to support the men and women deploying to keep our country safe. A congressionally chartered, private organization, the USO relies on the generosity of individuals, organizations and corporations to support its activities, and is powered by a family of volunteers to accomplish our mission of connection.

When I volunteer at the USO, I look into their eyes and I see my child, I want the marines and soldiers to rest and feel cared for while at the USO.
