On December 2, join Bob Hope USO and the entertainment and philanthropic community, in recognizing our service members at the 2019 Home for the Holidays USO Show, honoring DC with the Spirit of Hope Award. Accepting on behalf of DC will be Jim Lee, Co-Publisher and Chief Creative Officer. The Patriot Award will be presented to Northrop Grumman Corporation. We also be welcoming home our very own USO West Regional President and Navy Reservist, Bob Kurkjian, returning from a seven-month deployment in Afghanistan in service to our nation. The namesake of our organization, Bob Hope was a legendary American entertainer, actor, showman, comedian and philanthropist, and loved to make the troops laugh. We still do this today, nearly 80 years later. Help us commemorate the legacy of Bob Hope, as we come together to bring the USO back to Tinsletown this holiday season. Please join us in supporting the men and women who so faithfully protect and defend the United States.

Bob Hope USO strengthens America’s military by keeping them connected to family, home and country throughout their service to the nation. We provide USO services and programming to current members of the military and their families across the globe to 4.9 million service members and their families with a volunteer force of over 30,000. In Southern California, we impact over a quarter of a million service members annually through our USO center at the Iconic USO Theme Building, MEPS in Los Angeles, as well as four other USO centers. The USO is an independent 501c3 non-profit organization, providing morale and recreational services to members of the military since 1941.
